  1. I’m watching this video! you are really educational. I’m not a woman. And this video is for women ONLY! If I come across a woman looking for a bra I will redirect them to this video!

  2. Laci, thanks so much for this video! I have a similar body type as you and have been having the hardest time finding a bra that fits me correctly. I’ll be sure to stop at Nordstrom soon and get a couple of these.

  3. Bra shopping is a pain, but I found this store called Intimacy. They have just about every bra size/type possible, you just have to find a store and a get a fitting. Some of the bras are expensive so I usually wait until they have sale going on. Another place I get my bras is at figleaves.com, they are a bit pricey but they have good sales and their bras are so cute.

  4. Does the amount of sagging/back pain you would get from lack of bras depend on the exact size and individual body proportions? I’m a male and so I’ve obviously never had to deal with it. I’ve also never really had a point of reference to know how much sagging actually effects since the only people I would see bare breasted on any sort of a frequent basis are naturist events.

Just curious about how much to do with bras is real physical health and how much is cultural pressure.

    • Yeah, the pain depends on your proportions. Bras definitely eliminate SOME back pain, but not all. I also just like having them close to me and not all over the place. If I had smaller breasts, I would not wear a bra. It’s just not necessary.

      • OK, thanks for that information. I always prefer to promote health and wellbeing through common sense over needless cultural pressures, so I’m glad you help add to that. Well done :).

  5. You look so sad and I can’t help but notice the t-shirt (seems you’ve partly given into the haters). I just can’t help but to think you’ve lost some of your faith in people because of the constant influx of derogatory comments towards how you choose to dress yourself.
My exgf wore a bra too small for her. The bands across her back were really tight and the cups pressed her breasts tightly to her chest. There were indentation marks on her back and chest an hour or more later after she took it off. I measured her back and came up with her size and convinced her to go up a cup size. We went to Wal-Mart and found a 12-hour Playtex bra that fit her perfectly. She was much happier with herself after that and eventually took to wearing skimpier clothing and unfortunately caught the eye of another guy who she left me for. Oh well. Still I did a good deed for someone and that was enough.

  6. This does sound like such a hassle for you and for other women so “blessed.” There must be an easier way to find these. I knew a woman who had to order her bras from overseas.

  7. Thank you so, so much Laci. May I ask a question? I would be so, so appreciative if you could help me?

I have a go-to bra that I wear constantly (in different colours). The band rides up a lot, and the wires around the cups don’t sit flat unless I wiggle my breasts (heh) into them – and even then, my breasts will find a way to come out of the cup throughout the day, and will also feel squashed.

However, I have tried a band size smaller and it feels really tight. Like.. really really tight. Is this normal, at first? Will I get used to it or is there a way to know when a band size really is too tight? (I have tried a cup size bigger, but they’re too big! )

I feel so out of proportion with my breasts.. I’m starting to feel no size will fit me properly and that I’m some weird freaky breasted woman! I can’t even get measured professionally because of temporary disibilities (my muscles are lol right now!) that keep me at home.. yet my breasts are so heavy, I need a supportive bra, so I need to guess and order!

I’d also love a pretty bra that gives me a nice shape for when ‘the boyfriend’ comes over =( At the moment I just look.. wow, no.

Again, thanks so much for this video. It’s something that plays on my mind every day, really gets me down and plays havoc with my confidence :( x

    • Hey fem, it sounds like your cup is too small. You should be able to fit two fingers under the band comfortably at its tightest point (usually under your arms). It shouldn’t hurt–that means your band is too small. You also said the next cup size up is too big, so maybe the brand you’re using doesn’t have proper increments for you. Try another brand. You may need something a little more specialized, but if it’s causing you pain, it might be worth the extra investment. Good luck <3 x

      • Thank you Laci! I have actually been using the same brand for a while now, thinking it was just the size and it would be the same from every store.. and because the bras were cheap. Eh, probably time to break out of my comfort zone and treat myself a little at the same time! =)

  8. Do you have any stretch marks? My boobs just went through a second growth spurt and bumped up from a C to a D and is STILL growing (What a pain, I’ll have to buy MORE new bras!), so I’m exhibiting some major stretch marks.

Also, did your boobs itch when they were growing? That’s what I’ve heard some people tell me. Mine do itch A LOT every single day, and I don’t know what to do with them but scratch them and worse the stretch marks.

Sorry for all the blabber, and thank you for everything you’re doing. You’re fantastic.

    xxx

    • Yeah, I have some stretch marks on the tops of my breasts. They have faded with time and aren’t very noticeable anymore though. I wouldn’t worry about them, it’s completely normal.

And yeah, my breasts itched as well. It went away rather quickly though. Don’t worry :)

  9. Glad you’re providing a thoughtful, intelligent service.
    Good for you.
But maybe you need to hear another, however rare viewpoint.

Natural, pendulous breasts over time is, to me, a natural, beautiful thing. The implant look has seriously distorted society view of natural beauty.

Embrace natural–research how and why brassieres came into use and discover more sad male domination.

Posture and many back exercises help, too. But when nothing else can help, then bra way as you want.

and as far as “support”, “spillage” etc what do these terms really mean? Why does the natural female body come with all these societal negative terms?
    I support all natural.
And BTW I support you doing whatever you want.
And about “sexy lingerie”… a rose needs no further adornment and no woman needs further adornment either.

I realize I’m a voice crying in the wilderness..but my beloved appreciates these opinions.

    • No, you’re totally right. I’m with you. However, it is simply inefficient for a woman with breasts my size not to wear a bra. I get harassed enough with one on. Not only that, but they would get in the way of my daily tasks and running would be absolutely impossible.

  10. “There aren’t bras for women that have small waists, but are busty, that are cute and sexy” The women or the bra? lol You are cute and sexy Laci.

  11. Laci,
This is my first reply on your videos. I’ve watched many of your videos and I really like hearing your point of view of sex-related topics, and I like learning the facts you have to offer. This video, though, is different. You seem kind of uncomfortable talking about this subject. Curiosity is the only reason for which I watched this video in the first place, but I appreciate all the effort you put into sharing your knowledge, and the effort you put into making this video to help women as well-endowed as you are. You’re a real source of knowledge. You rock, Laci!

  12. I have a size F bra but I find all my bras at a store called fredricks of Hollywood, they have 32 band size in every cup. And I have bought some very sexy bras from there for less then $25. Hope this helps :)

  13. A great place to go for fittings is Intimacy (www.myintimacy.com). They have CUTE bras for ladies of all sizes, and are really good about finding bras that fit like a glove. I’m a 36E and they routinely have adorable undies in my size (up to J or I cups). The problem with them is they ARE rather expensive, but they often have sales, so I can get $200 bras for half price (and $100 ones for half price too).

If you already know your size, you can go to http://www.figleaves.com for many of the same designers as Intimacy (at cheaper prices).

You should be buying sports bras the same way you buy your daily wear bras; by cup size. Specialty stores as well as figleaves should have them in a range of sizes mirroring your bras.

Other bra things: Never wear your bra two days in a row; leave time for your sweat to evaporate from the elastic, and the elastic to return to its shape. Don’t machine wash or dry your bras, and don’t use Woolite (it will eat the fibers). Even if you have smaller breasts, don’t shop at Victoria’s Secret; they vanity size, and their bras are cheaply made. An expensive bra will be an annoying initial outlay, but should last you for years, when taken care of properly.

  14. Laci and fellow voluptuous women, if you’re looking for cute bras for busty but not plus sized women and are willing to pay a little extra, there’s an amazing store in Cardiff, Wales. It’s far, but they now have a website, and yes…it’s pricey, but it might be what you’re looking for. I spent all day in this shop when I was there, and I highly recommend it! I cannot wait for North America to catch up to the UK, finding proper bras there is not nearly as difficult as it is here… Anyways, hear is a link to my favorite bra shop for busty ladies:

    http://www.bravissimo.com/products/lingerie/

    • I second this persons suggestion, personally I know nothing about bras (I’m a dude) but I have a friend who has large breasts and a similar build to you, they swear by this place. Obviously it’s in the UK so you can’t try them out before you buy which is a bit of a problem…

    • i agree with the bravissimo suggestion. they stock fantasie and freya like you mentioned, along with their own brand and a brand called panache, which is one of my favourites. they do a great fitting service in most of their shops too. i’m 16 and a 34GG so finding bras is a frustrating experience, but they have so many pretty ones. quite a few of my friends go there too and say they are the best bras they’ve ever had. the clothes are pretty good too :). shame they’re only in the UK (quite expensive too)

  15. hey laci, i shop at torrid all the time, you got the name right. they have some really great stuff, but the bras are just not right, i dont have that narrow waist you speak of, but the bras dont even fit me, the cups dig in and boobs be spilling all over the place! i’ve tried every bra there. i usually go to the vanity fair outlet (before my breasts got too big, i used that brands from kohls, so i stuck with it), they have a lot of bras in a bunch of sizes, I think the go up to E’s, and the bands sizes go from 30-44 i believe (i think they have larger as well, but i cant be sure), but they have pretty patterns so thats why i go there. my bras are cheetahlicious and cheap.

  16. Thank you so much for this! A lot of it I already knew, but it’s nice to know the information is being spread. For the longest time I settled for a 36D bra, but they never seemed to fit right. Ironically, a few days after i went bra shopping I actually measured myself with a tape and found out I’m a 30E. Much to my dismay, I’ve never even SEEN a 30 band size, and the concept of wearing an E cup was a little insane. It’s good to know i’m not completely alone with my body type though. :)
Hopefully your information will not only provide information to those with our body type, but also expose people to the possibility to different sizes (unlike stores in america).
As far as shopping goes, I’ve only ever used http://www.bravissimo.com/ and their selection and price isn’t too terrible. They have some REALLY cute bathing suits too, so that was a big plus. I’m waiting for my first order there at the moment, and it’s taking a while(being shipped from the UK) but I’ve heard good things.
I think as a general rule, UK stores usually carry those sizes, so you’d have to order online. luckily they usually have good return policies, so you can always send it back if it doesn’t fit.

  17. What about some for my man boobs, but seriously it sounds annoying to have big breast as a women even though its fun for use to see didnt know it was such a hassle for women :S

  18. Thanks for this, and the follow on comments. My wife is busty, though not tiny, and this advise and some of these sites will allow me to help her look for some other options. I especially like the idea about getting a larger band size tailored down. $3 of tailoring on a $30 bra is so worth it.

As a note to all, we’ve found the more expensive shops tend to (but not always) have better quality bras. Instead of wearing out a WalMart bra in a month, the Lane Bryant bras she gets are lasting significantly longer per dollar spent. A truism for a lot of clothes.

    • Where can you get your bras tailored? I have this amazingly cute bra but the band is to big and I don’t want to give it up.

  19. I have much smaller breasts, but I still feel like this was very helpful. I think I need to readjust how my bras fit!

  20. boo a bra video where you’re not wearing a low cut shirt ;) I’m surprised that you have a hard time finding bras for your body type, while you are big chested and thinner than most girls with big breasts, it seems as though your body type is becoming more common, or I’m just noticing it more… probably I’m just noticing it more lol.

  21. I was really excited, when I saw a new video.
Then I looked down at my boobs.
I watched it anyways. Just because, you kinda rock like that.

  22. I’d just like to say thank you so much for this video! I’ve been having so many problems trying to find a good bra for my size. I’ve found that figleaves.com has some good sizes in varying band sizes as well. I’ve not personally bought any of their bras yet, but have seen them there.

  23. so what do you do about like lingerie?
that obviously doesn’t have to fit THAT great right?
like you wouldn’t wear it for just every day things
i find that getting a fitting helps a lot <3

  24. Thanks for this advice Laci! I’ve tried for YEARS to find bras that fit correctly, mostly because for a long time, I refused to accept that I could possibly be the size that I am. I’m the only woman in my family with large breasts and a relatively smaller waist, and my mother has never known what to do with me…

I would love to hear more advice about sports bras, if anyone has some. I want to work out more and lose a little weight, but my breasts hurt when I run because I can find a good sports bra. Usually I end up wearing a too small sports bra and a too small regular bra and smooshing everything together does not feel good either…

  25. WOW (shoutout to O & A), I could have used this advice when I played in drag for Cabaret (the band “volunteered” to play the “part” of a Band-in-drag, so we did). I don’t have moobs, yet, but when I do – I will save this link!

  26. Nice work! I heard a program on NPR a few years ago with a lady who was nearing 100 and had been working for years in the same foundation garment shop saying (Noo Yawk accent with years of smoking) “50 percent of the women in America are wearing the wrong size bras”
I feel bad when I see a poor woman wearing an obviously uncomfortable bra that’s pinching into her!

  27. Hi Laci,

I also am small (band size 30) with large breasts. I have had to resort to ordering bras online because I don’t have any shops near me. HOWEVER… I order Freya, Fantasie, and Panache (my new favorite) and they come in a variety of colors and styles. Panache has sexy styles that go up to HH cup size! I actually only own one bra in white…the rest are quite colorful!

    My two favorite websites:

    http://www.figleaves.com (go to US website)
    http://www.herrrom.com

Maybe it’s time to splurge on a colorful new bra, Laci!

If you can afford it, I recommend the Masquerade line from Panache. They are GORGEOUS!

  28. i actually like wearing a push up bra because while i was blessed with larger breasts, they unfortunately sag making certain tops and dresses not look like on me. but with a push up bra, everything’s pushed up so it’s above the waistband of any kind of empire top/dress

  29. Thanks so much Laci. Also I’m not sure what your cup size is but if you Victoria’s Secret online catalogue has some bigger ones. I got my 32 DDD from there and it’s WAY cute. My ex boyfriend loved it. So maybe you want to check that out :)

  30. Hey Laci,
Ok so this is really so my area of expertise, being a guy and all, but I do remember seeing adverts for Bravissimo that makes bras aimed at larger breast sizes, maybe you will find something you like there.
    http://www.bravissimo.com/

  31. Hi Laci. I don’t troll sites just because of busty Ladies. But I really like your outlook on sex and how to use it to an advantage for people who aren’t sure of themselves ” like when the parents didn’t tell there children about the birds and the bees”. I knew a busty lady (yes this is funny) who used duct tape to help secure herself so they wouldn’t bounce and be painful on her back. She would put cloth at the tender spots and then wear a good sports bra. As some one else mentioned you really seemed very sad doing this video almost to the point of crying. It was comments like what you get that stopped MissCupcake from making videos on You Tube. But Like Marina of HotForWords told her and us who hang around Marina’s web site to grow a thick skin and don’t interact with the trolls just the ones that leave you a nice compliment or are a true believer in what you do. Peace Laci. Take care. :-)

  32. hey laci, i’m 16 and i have the same bra shopping problems as you. you should try finding a specialty store, there’s one with a couple branches in my city and they have tons of options, super cute ones too! i recently got a really nice one in 32F and it cost about $56, which is on the cheaper side for this store. they are pricey, but completely worth it, and as long as you handwash them often they last a really long time. i have 3 from this store and that’s all i really need. as for sports bras, lululemon’s are great, but they rarely stock in larger sizes.

  33. My girlfriend is a 38GG and has most of the same issues. We found a store local to use http://www.thebragenie.com/ they are the only place in the New Orleans area so far. They carry European plus the US ones. They have some very cute and sexy ones. :) Check em out.

  34. Hi laci,
I do live in the bay area. And a lot of my malls have a store called fredericks
    http://www.fredericks.com/
And they actually do have sexy bra’s for bustier woman with small frames. I had a friend a few years back in high school with a similar problem and this was the only place she was able to shop at that carried bras that were best for her.
Let me know if you have tried that store before.
    -Justine

  35. On the sports bra, as weird as this sounds, I had a friend that wore two bras. Obviously, she would get them a little bigger since she would be wearing more. She was a size E and she said running was almost unbearable unless she wore two.

  36. OMG Thank you so much for this video!!!! I’ve been buying bras and bathing suits from Bravissimo.com since I was in high school. They’re based in the UK though, so if something doesn’t fit, it’s really expensive to return it and there’s still no chance that it will fit. They have REALLY cute stuff though, and their clothing line, Pepperberry, has some AMAZING clothes for busty women!

But I didn’t know Nordstrom sold bras in my size (32G)! That’s so awesome! There isn’t one really close to where I live, but it’d be a nice Saturday adventure to go shopping in nearby Corte Madera.

Anyway, I feel your pain, Laci! Much love!

  37. I have the same issue with my breast size. I don’t know if you’ve already tried it, but Macy’s has a line called Wacoal and those bras come in lots of sizes that traditional brands don’t have. They’re a bit more expensive, but not too bad. They’re really good bras too.

  38. sup lace, you seemed a little uncomfortable talking about this subject but i wanted to give you props for doing it because there are many women who have the same issues as you and I’m sure they will appreciate this video. I may not be a woman but I’ve dated many big breasted women, my latest ex was a 34E and after battling bra issues her whole life (after puberty). she found an online UK store called brastop.com and fell in love with it. it is in the UK and she said they are more expensive than target and stuff but cheaper than nordstrom. anywho, hope that site helps

  39. You could always look on the internet for proper sized bras, I know nothing about female undergarments, BUT, I do know the internet, and I know you can find ANYTHING and ANY price on the internet.

  40. As a non-bra-wearing male, that has hear complaints(and seen the sewing). I had become a bit curious as to how exactly they worked. And now I know. Thanks. =)

  41. Hey Laci, just wanted to say that I always enjoy watching your videos. Even if it’s not always new information, it’s always refreshing to see a young woman embrace her body, embrace her sexuality, and just to hear the female perspective on all the topics you cover. Thanks for doing what you do (provide interesting and informational content for free) and stay awesome.

  42. I went through this with my X-wife. What you have to do is go to a specialty bra shop. They have all sorts of sizes and they know how to measure you to make sure you get the exact right fit.

These are expensive. You will pay $50 for one of these bras. These places usually do have more styles to choose from, some of which may be considered cute and/or sexy. They usually cost a little more though.

All large breasted women should go for bras with wider straps that aren’t too close to the neck. You need this extra surface area to support the weight of your breasts. Otherwise you can have problems with circulation and numbness in the arms and shoulders.

By the way, when it comes to lingerie, there is none that fits breasts that large. What you do is buy that kind that fits like a long shirt, rather than the kind with cups. You get the bigger size that will fit. Then you get a separate thong in a smaller size that goes with that top.

I can answer any questions you have. I have years of experience being in relationships with large breasted women.

    • Your ex wife only paid $50 for bra’s? I’m luck if I can find one, on sale, for just under $100! And I go to my local specialty shops, the pricier one and the less expensive one. It might be that I live in a smaller town, but most of the bra’s are aimed at older women and grandma’s, and there really aren’t cute, young bra’s in either of them.

  43. Have you tried looking on Etsy for cute bras? It will be a little expensive but if your size isn’t changing I think it’s worth investing in a really nice piece.
I’m thinking of actually starting a business of sorts through there in customizing bras in all sizes, particularly for larger cup sizes since, as you said, it’s so hard to find. I’m afraid I don’t have the sewing skills to actually make the bras but I’d love to make them pretty.
I suppose I’ll work on it a bit and see what sort of results I get. Since I live only about two hours from you maybe I can see about a birthday present of sorts?

PS: Obviously, thank you. I’m lucky enough to have moderately-sized breasts but having unusual body proportions in other areas I have a lot of empathy for the troubles they can present. I think it’s awesome that custom-made clothing is becoming more affordable and readily-available through websites like Etsy.

    One size fits all”

    • Crud, hit the button at the wrong time.
      As I was saying…

“One size fits all” will, hopefully, be removed from clothing industry standards soon, as well as numbered sizes which I believe can lead to not just ill-fitting clothing but lower self-esteem. I remember being humiliated in junior high that I wore size 7 jeans and the other girls talked about being 0′s and 2′s. I was perfectly healthy.
      Ridiculous.

      Anyway, thanks again. <3

  44. Since I know you are located somewhere in California I am assuming you aren’t in New York City often, but IF you ever go… SAKS has a great bra department my mom only gets bras from there and she has the same problem as you. They aren’t as unreasonably priced as one might think bras from SAKS would be. (5th avenue)

  45. Man, I am actually only a c-cup, but for some reason i’ve always been really paranoid about letting my boobs get saggy! I feel so uncomfortable walking around with no bra on. It IS society, I admit. I really don’t want my boobs to get saggy and not be considered conventionally sexy anymore. Sad.

  46. I’m going to second herroom.com. I’m a 34DDD and NO ONE has this size at my mall. Or if I do find it, it’s a granny bra that comes up to my chin. The variety is impressive at herroom.com. There’s expensive ones, cheap ones, sexy ones, and generic t-shirt ones. They have a great return policy as well in case it doesn’t fit quite right.

  47. Thanks so much for this video Laci! I’m built about like you are, and I’ve had the hardest time finding bras that fit.
    I love this brand: http://www.shopbounce.com/home.do
They have bras in all sizes, including for us larger ladies, but I think women who want a bra of any size should check this out!

  48. I second e-bay. I buy most of my bras there. I can have Marks&Spencer for under $10 incl. shipping if I use a site that bids for me a couple of seconds before the end of the auction.
Also – straps shouldn’t dig in this much! I don’t care how busty you are, the band is simply not doing it’s job. Good band supports 80-90% of the weight of your breasts. Straps are for those 10-20%.
Good site for comparing bras: http://bratabase.com

  49. Soma Intimates has a really wide selection of bra sizes, from really small to really large. They are a little bit expensive but definitely worth the extra money.

  50. Why is it that you do a video about your “shoulders” and how you are not going to change the way you dress to make people happy and then wear a shirt that covers more of your “shoulders” in this one which is essentially about…”shoulder holders”? BTW you are beautiful

  51. Thanks for your video, this is a topic near to me. I am 35 and had my first accurate fitting for a bra last year at Nordstroms. Prior to that fitting I had been repeatedly told I was a C cup and always had ill fitting bras. At Nordstroms I learned I am really a DD or DDD cup, and a smaller band size as well. I couldn’t afford to buy more than one bra there at the time, so I’ve been making due with cheaper bras I’ve found at Macy’s and TJ Maxx. I’d like to buy more bras there someday, the fit and durability just can’t be beat.

My friend has a very small band size and very large breasts, and she wears by the Minimizer bra, sold at Macy’s. They have great sales every so often, making the bras pretty cheap. I’ve got a few myself and although they do the job, I still think the fit and durability of the bra I got from Nordstroms is better.

One thing you didn’t mention was how the front part needs to fit snugly against your breastbone, also when you first put a bra on, large breasted women should scoop the boobs into the cup, to make sure everything is in the right place. This has made a big difference for me! It should also be noted that the bra should stay in place without the straps on. This doesn’t mean it will provide support, bit if the band fit properly the bra won’t need the straps to stay in place. The straps are there to prevent breast droop.

  52. I believe this will really help a lot of girls! I never had a big problem because my mom always encouraged me to get my size checked whenever my breasts were growing, and we just spent the money to get bras at Nordstroms. There wasn’t really anything else we could do, so we just spent the money. I’ve only had one bra from there break, and it was probably because of the way I sort of jam my bras into my tiny little dorm drawer.
Anyways, what I made this comment for was the issue of the awful SPORTS BRAAAA! First of all, I’ve seen some of my friends buy sports bras trying to get ones that push their breasts together, when what you actually really want is separation! Things are going to get awfully uncomfortable when your sweaty boobs are pressed together.
Right now I have a sports bra that I just bought at an athletics store. I went through basically their entire stock and only found one that fit decently. (32E is hard to find!) It has full underwire that goes all the way to the top of the bra and completely separates and flattens my breasts. It’s not perfect, the underwire pinches a little bit, but it’s sure as hell better than using a regular one.

  53. I too have suffered from years of difficulty in the bra department. What’s worse is that I’m NOT very feminine, sexy, girl-y female, so the fact that I have a DD cup when I actually desire a very small bust really upsets me. Anyway, about a month ago, I found out about JMS–Just My Size–bras and ever since I started wearing them, they’ve helped a lot. I’m fortunate to finally have found a bra that supports the bulk of my breasts, BUT I am desperately hoping that, in the future, I can somehow shrink my bust size through exercise and minimizing my weight.

    Great post. :)

  54. My wife has the same problem. Like you she’s been on a quest to find the right bras. The two stores she has found was Macy’s and Nordstrom’s. The good part is that if they don’t have your band size in stock, they will order them for you.

At both stores, there is a wide variety to choose from and such. Plus at both stores, there is someone there to measure if needed.

    Hope this helps.

  55. I have the same problem and nothing fits! The only bra that fits perfectly for me is the dream angles demi bra. It says demi, but i find it’s not at all. For me it has full coverage. Also the straps are wide enough, i find, and its pretty! I know it dosnt look like a bra for busty women… but if you have a victoria secret where you are, then you should for sure try it. :)

  56. Noone has recommended this yet, but Ultimo is an amazing brand, and pretty much do all of their cute and sexy bras in sizes DD-G aswell! They can be a bit pricey sometimes, but they are very well made and WORTH it! They are highly esteemed brand where I live, since the owner is now a highly successful business woman. You can buy them on Figleaves.com online and I’m sure they ship everywhere x

  57. I’m nowhere near the same size as you, I’m a 34DD, but I have the same issue — no stores hold my size. The closest they get is a 36D which can kinda sorta do the job but 34DDs are just so much more comfortable. I’ve actually found some stores overseas — from England, to be precise — carry a much bigger variety of bra sizes and types than any store I’ve found around north america. I’ve ordered several bras from Marks and Spencers, for example, and fricking love all of them. The prices are really affordable too despite the need for shipping, which is nice.

  58. Hey Laci I have some links for you,
The first is a community on livejournal called thirty two d. It’s a small band size big cup size community although all are welcome to talk about bras or fitting problems.
The next is a polish brand called Effuniak and the site is
    ewa-michalak.pl
You can email them your measurements and the style you like and they’ll be more than happy to help you. :)
The next is another bra forum called
    balkonetka.pl
It’s another polish site but it’s great just to see bras on people and what they’ll really look like. You have to sign up to use it.
    Hope this helps! :)

  59. Hey Laci, I am 16 and I have a larger bust size than most people of my body type (I am only 5 feet tall and small and muscular otherwise) and it is really difficult for me to buy bras. When I get measured the size I am told crushes my breasts and they fall out often throughout the day, and when I even try others the same incident happens. Is there something wrong with the bras or myself and do you have any suggestions?

  60. I’m glad you made a video about some of the comments about you *body*, those comments deprive your videos from there true meaning.
And thank you for making your channel because without it I would have thought the wrong way about many things.

  61. Although my breasts are much smaller than yours (I’m a D cup) I still found this video very helpful and actually learned a lot more about bras. I will definitely remember this the next time I go bra shopping :]

  62. Hi Laci! I love your videos and my friend told me about this one today because I was complaining about how I can’t find a bra that fits. I’ve been settling for this one brand of bras thats a 34 d but the band is too big and lately my boobs have been falling right out the bottom and still filling up the cups! I used to wear a 32 F but my breast size kept changing so I got rid of my bras in that size. Boy am I regretting that. Anyones one question you mentioned that you measured yourself well I’ve searched the internet far and wide and there are so many different systems for measuring your bra size. I was wondering which one you use. Thanks! <3

  63. Hey Laci :)

I have come across this site which could be of use :)all their lingerie, swimwear and nightwear are all aimed at the curvier ladies. Their sizes start at 28D and end at a KK cup.

    http://www.bravissimo.com/

They have some really cute/sexy ones!

  64. I’m a 32D and have a hard time finding my size. I actually think I need to move up to 32DD, thanks for the video Laci. All my bras are terrible.

  65. http://www.bravalingerie.com.au/lingerie_shop_melbourne_home_page.html

This is an Australian website. They ship to most places in the world. They are on the pricey side. But they have PLENTY of really cute bras specifically for big busts and small backs. They also stock “Freya” and “Fantasie” so you can discover some new brands that might be available for cheaper in the US, which I’ve noticed happens quite a bit when brands are brought over to different countries. Either way, check it out, they even have swimwear.
    xo Natalie

  66. I’ve had this problem since I was 14 and its super annoying. I went to nordstroms as well, but they really don’t have very cute styles there. I found out that Asos (Asos.com) has a huge selection bras that are actually really cute and are really pretty cheap when they go on sale. Most go up to G, although some also go up to J I believe. I would highly recommend it. I am so thankful to have stumbled upon the site. They have sports bras too, but they’re kind of expensive. Good luck!

  67. thanks so much for this video. i can tell you that i am so frustrated with the design of bras out there. i recieve little to no advice, i already have a scholiosis, but i feel so embarrassed by my lack of support i just hunch over to try and divert attention.. any store i’ve been to has always just rambled on about something stupid just to get me to spend more money, and i feel that nobody cares. this has had a huge effect on my self esteem. i’ve noticed that bathing suits are the same, and i love swimming, but i dont really want to go..i definately cant afford the store you mentioned and the other ones arent in canada other than like walmart.. i was wondering if there were any more that you knew of? or maybe other viewers knew of?

  68. Why am I watching this? I’m clearly not comfortable with people’s bodies.

The audio goes out of sync towards the end of the video.

Surely someone could stylise thicker straps, into some kind of a “dress bra” or something?

  69. Hey Laci! I didn’t read through every single comment, so I’m not sure if this store has been recommended yet, but another great place (FOR CUTE BRAS TOO) if Fredrick’s Of Hollywood. They will custom fit you and everything like that. They only problem is that they can be very pricey. I am not sure if they have got store locations in other states, but there is one here in Arizona where I live. They also have a website, fredricks.com, however buying bras online is usually asking for trouble with sizing and such, so I would recommend going t their website to locate a store near where you live.

  70. 100% with metroidroks on this one.

Obviously not having to deal with any of this personally, being a guy, I still really appreciate that you’ve done this vid for all the women who do find themselves in a bit of spot on the topic.

  71. Thanks for the info, this is great for me!

the only (tiny) problem that i have with this video is that the shirt you’re wearing and the bra you used to demo are the same colour, so it was kinda hard to see everything you were demonstrating.

    thanks for your videos!

  72. laci, I just wanted to thank you for your videos. I myself have very large breasts and have a hard time finding bras that fit me the right way. It does seem to be a little bit easier for me thought because my band size and cup size are not two different extremes, but I feel your pain. You have made me so confident in my own body, and have made a huge impact on my life. Thank You. P.S MAIDENFORM is AMAZING for large bras and weird sizes, & they are cute too :)

  73. First I want to thank you for making this video. A lot of the stuff I’ve unfortunately learned over the years, but a couple of things were really helpful. It is also nice to know that others suffer the same problems. Sometimes I feel alone. Most of my friends are tiny with small chests and it is so hard to go shopping with them because I can’t find dresses that fit my waist and chest. Although I’m more towards the plus size of the spectrum I still have a very defined hourglass figure. I love my body, (most of the time XD), and I especially love my big breasts, even if they cause me trouble. What annoys me is that I have these wonderful breasts, but I can’t find bras that really show them. All the really nice bras I’ve found, (cute ones too!) make my cleavage disappear. :( I was wondering how you keep your cleavage from disappearing? I wanna work what my momma gave me :D

Thanks again for the video~ Maria

  74. Do you guys have Change in the states? I live in Toronto, and every friend that I have with a bigger bust gets their bras there. I’m fairly certain they go up to a J cup and their bras are REALLY cute.

If you’re looking for cute/sexy bras, next time you’re in Canada I’d recommend trying it out :)

  75. You can also get bras that will fit (and are cute!) from most medium to large size city’s specialty lingerie store. The closest to me is Bits of Lace in Charleston, SC. I am a 32 G or H depending on the bra, and I have never had a problem finding a bra there.

  76. I’m a 32B, do you think it’s worth wearing a bra or not? I mean is it indecent to not wear a bra in public, or when I get older will my boobs sag??

    • I used to be that size (then out of the blue they randomly ballooned :\) and if my top was thick enough not to be see through, i generally didn’t bother, or i’d wear a little crop top thing for light support and never had any real problem with it. I had a couple of “…Are you wearing a bra?” comments (if people were focusing THAT intently on my chest), which i answered with “No, they’re a faff.” and that was about it. It’s completly down to what you’re comfortable with, physically and mentaly :)
‘fraid I can’t comment on the saggy part though, i’m not old enough to know yet :D

  77. i have the exact oposite problem, here bras are sel by cm. no by cups, so i usually get a 90, but its too tight, and when i get a 95 the cups turn out to be too big, now i know ill just buy 90 and i can expand it a lil bit
    Thanks :)

  78. Hey Laci, thanks for another great video!
This is something I’ve struggled with ever since I was 15, and, well, developed. For a long time I wore 36D’s thinking it was the right size, that I was fine, even though my back was constantly sore and the bra’s constantly moved about my jiggly wigglies. Eventually my mom brought me to get properly measured the summer before I turned 18, and I found out I’m a 32G.
I really did not want to believe that I was that big, especially since they don’t SEEM that big. I denied it for a couple more months, before finally going to a small shop we have here in town that I’ve always associated with old lady lingerie and horrible smells. The ladies there were very nice, if centuries older than me.
That’s also when I found out how much more bigger cup sizes cost, and how ugly they can be! I nearly ran out of there crying. As a young woman who is well endowed, I felt unfairly punished knowing that I couldn’t wear cute bra’s anymore.
I’m not exactly rich either, in fact I’m far from it. I can’t afford to buy many bra’s at $100+ each, so right now I only have one well fitting Bra. I know I should have more, but I can’t afford to spend the money on them when I used to be able to get 4 for what I spent on my current one.

Er, I know this comment is really long, but I get carried away when it comes to this subject since is something close to me. No pun intended.
But yes, I do wish there was something lacy and cute I could buy that actually fit me nicely!

And for those who say screw it, and go without? Uh.. It’s just not possible for us well endowed girls. Like Laci, I sometimes also get harassed – And that’s with a bra on. I’ll go without at night, and that’s crazy enough. Ever woken up with a boob in your face?

  79. my sister has a really big chest (DD) ad shes always having trouble finding bras. however, she finds some cute ones at victoria’s secret, although she usually has to order them online as (she says) they’re not in the stores. also, shes had some luck at target lately. target it getting a lot better in that department, at least by me. oh, and i dont know how good it is, but forever 21 has, like, a mini-VS section in it

  80. Hi Laci I want to start out with saying how much i love watching your videos, you’re so fresh and natural it feels like you’re actually talking to my face haha.
Okay so before i begin i think it would be good to explain my body, I’m a very small 5’2 105 pounds girl, I have a super small waist (24 inches)but wide hips and big breasts. I measure 32-33 inches around my breasts (but only 26.8 inches under my breasts) Making me an F30 in the country i live in! (haha, thank you the internet for all the cm to inches and kg to lbs converters!) Back to boobs! so in most stores where i live, they don’t run “30″ not even A30 so you can probably imagine how difficult it is to get F30! But I found that Change(http://www.change.com/)sold my size!! They even had smaller waist + bigger cup size! But as you said the bras that fit me were mostly kind of plain (they did have some cute ones) and expensive. But for good quality bras in my size i go to Change..
Now a little extra.. i lived (live, went back because of the earthquake) in Japan for a year, and before going i bought tons of bras because i was sure i wouldn’t be able to get my size (the average cup size is smaller than where i’m from, it’s a fact) but i was actually positively surprised. They did have many bras that fit me, shit bras, but they were all super cute. So if you ever go to Japan you might be able to find cute (shit) bras. Shit as in the only reason to buy them is that they are cute. But hey, if they are to the times where you just want to show it of and then take it off then what the hell!
    tl;dr

  81. Try bravissimo.com; I don’t know what their service is like in the US but I use them in the UK. They have some cute styles and run D – KK in cup an 30 – 40 in waist although some styles are only to G cup.

  82. I have to buy mine online and they have cute bras at Bravissimo and figleaves. They are fantastic and if you get the wrong size you can send it back.

  83. So, what qualifies as a “large chest?” To me, it is those that cannot find bras in regular lingerie shops (i.e. greater than an E cup and a band size smaller than 32). I feel moderately jealous when girls with a DD cup complain about difficulty finding bras when they are available everywhere! I spent a long time trying to find a decent bra because the largest I could find was an E, which would barely contain me. Luckily, I found a specialty shoppe that sold Freya and Fantasie bras!

Does anyone else get small-boob envy because it’s easier for those girls to get cute, inexpensive bras whenever they want? I’d like to pay less than $100 for a bra, please!

  84. Nordstrom is the only store I’ve come across that carries my size (34 DDD/F). I think the reason not many stores carry it is because most women don’t know their real size. When I decided my bras didn’t satisfy me I went looking for new sizes. First I went to Victoria’s Secret to get my size checked. They told me I was a 36 DD. Then I went to Nordstrom, and they told me I was a 34 DDD. The reason VS lied is because they don’t carry my size, but they still want me to shop there. I feel like this must happen to a lot of women. It’s really frustrating >.< The bras I have now were $80 (way too much in my opinion) and I'm not even completely satisfied with them. I've been trying to lose weight to go down cup sizes, I feel like that's the only way.

  85. THANK YOU THANK YOU! I am 20 years old and SICK of trying to squeeze myself into bras. Just recently I have given up on cute bras and have tried to find some that truly fit, only to find bras with band sizes that are so big for me!! I absolutely appreciate this video, you have really helped me!! Thanks again and much love!!

  86. i have small breasts but all the push up bras in the world hurt me and and the band sizes leave red marks like u I can’t find any cute bras at any clothing stores do u know any place that sells wireless bras oh and thinks for the video it helped alot

  87. I love Freya! I have 32DD, and once I was getting so tired of finding a good bra I went to a more expensive shop to find one. Eventually, I found a supercute bra (which was unfortunately €53, which is around $80). I think that’s pretty expensive for a bra, but I got it anyway because it fitted me so perfectly ánd looked really cute too.
I also bought a bikini from Freya last week, and although it was – again – extremely expensive, I’m really happy with it :D Finding well-fitting bikini’s is almost even more difficult than finding a good bra hehe.

  88. My mom has big breasts, DD cup, and her band size is 34. She’s found that the best place to go bra shopping is at a specialty lingerie store. Here in Vancouver, she goes to Romantique and the bras she’s bought there are really pretty. However, the price is quite expensive, $70-100 Canadian, but she’s found that it’s worth it for the quality she gets and for how long the bras last. Some of the bras she has she’s been wearing for 15-20 years. She keeps them in good shape by hand-washing them and doing a little maintenance now and then on the straps, band and cups.

Another thing she likes about going to a speciality lingerie store is the expertise of the staff. They can help you choose the right bra for you depending on your breast size and your own preferences (soft/hard cup, underwire or not, etc) and they can also fit you in the changing room by setting the straps to the right length and making sure that the cups and band are the right size.

As for sport bras, my mom usually wears running tank tops as she feels that they offer more support and better coverage up top so that she doesn’t have to worry about her breasts popping out.

My cousin also has big breasts, E cup (I don’t know her band size). When she exercises, she’s found that what works best for her is to wear a leotard as that offers the best support and coverage.

I hope that some of this is helpful. :)

  89. I have the exact same problem! The only places I have found which provide cute bras for a larger bust is Marks and Spencers whcih, unfortunately can only be found in the UK, and Bravissimo which I think is international. Hope this helps =) xxx

  90. I’ve found that KappAhl usually carry a few cute bras, and I’m not sure about the prices in the US but over here they aren’t all that expensive. And in many smaller stores, that sell underwear, you can have them help you measure and help you find the right size and cup.

  91. Hi, love your videos!
I really do see the problem here! i have a sister with the same problem and me too, but mine are not that big, so i get along. We live in Europe and there is a store here called La senza, I don’t know if they have it in the US, but there is an online store, and they got bras and bikinis up to 32GG, and sell at about $25 and up. It’s top quality and they don’t look like something your granny would wear. I don’t know if this is cheaper than the ones you buy, but it’s worth a look, some of them are quite sexy :o)

    http://www.lasenza.co.uk

  92. It is so refreshing to know that I’m not the only one with bra shopping problems. While I was watching the video I had a feeling you were gonna say nordstrom and yes while they may be pricey they have the best selection. I’m a 38G and I’ve always been around that size since about high school and it was such a hassle finding bras. Even though it’s expensive it’s worth it for the comfort and most of all the support. I love freya and fantasie not only do those two brands fit well they make really pretty and sexy bras. I would also reccomend Elomi. I just got two bras from that brand and they fit like a dream and they’re gorgeous! The price is also pretty reasonable for a well made bra. (I think it was like $58, which is really not too bad, I equate it with the same price as a nice pair of jeans) Anyways thank you for making your video I really enjoyed it :)

  93. In Germany (and the Netherlands/Belgium/Denmark/France?!) they have Hunkemöller/Hunkemoller which has some nice bras. But the sexy ones are only up to 32e or 34f… =(

My sports bra is a triaction extreme by triumph.
It’s a 34dd (I’m a 32e-f) a bit toooo lose but good enough if you don’t run the whole day. (I took the best combination they had only to have one… And now I wait till I can afford one for running and not only ‘not run intense sport’ ;-) )
If you order online… Order a smaller bandsize than you normally are!!!

  94. I am a 36DD so I’m not sure if they carry your size, but I have a sports bra from Aerie that is underwire and I love it so much! I tend to wear that one instead of my bra a lot of the time because they make my breasts appear smaller than when I wear my stupid Victoria’s Secret bra that sucks. I will most definitely look into the places you mentioned in the video. Thanks so much, Laci!!

  95. i have very small breasts. it’s not easy for us at this end of the spectrum either. though it sounds worse for people with your body type to just find bras that fit; all my complaints are style-related. it’s difficult to find something without a ton of padding in the adult section, and it’s difficult to find plain bras in the kids section. i don’t want to wear a bra with justin bieber’s name on it and i don’t want to look a cup size larger. i’m okay with my small breasts, but it’s hard to stay confident when all the bras for my size are made to enhance me somehow.
i somewhat agree with you when you say that you wouldn’t wear a bra at all if you had smaller breasts. i wear one because it’s required for my gym class. though i also prefer it because it’s noticable when i don’t wear a bra and i like the smooth and rounded look better.

  96. I have a problem buying bras too… my problem though.. is a bit different… The straps are always too long, and they keep falling off my shoulders… I don’t have the money to tailor them (because Finland is a &%#&%¤ expensive country)…
*sigh* Even if I find the perfect, cute bra, with the right cup size and the band size… the straps are always too long. I can’t find a bra that would have short enough straps (mostly because Finland doesn’t sell brands with enough adjustment space…), no matter how hard I look.

  97. Laci, I know it sucks to spend a lot of money on a bra, but as a woman who’s busty as well (36G), investing in an expensive bra is worth it!! I’ve been buying Prima Donna bras for years now. they can be between $75-$300, i know i know $300!! But seriously a $300 bra will be amazing, and last longer.

  98. I’m shocked that you of all people don’t have any sexy underwear, laci! I know it’s not impossible, my friend is an I cup and she has a number of cute bras at her disposal. I up here in Canada and I’m not busty myself so I’m not sure about the stores and brands you’re talking about, but there are a number of pricey lingerie stores here that carry all sizes. You have to ask though because every size you see put out isn’t necessarily every size they have. If you’re already paying the price, get something cute for gosh sakes! It can be done.

  99. Hey Laci, I am in the same boat as you when it comes to not being able to find cute bra’s. Howver something that I have discovered works just as well is to buy a bra and then add cute things on to it. For instance I have a pink bra that I used fabric paint (buy at walmart in the craft section) and drew little peace signs and stars and what not on. Its not quite the same but sometimes sewing on a little bow in the front of a bra helps add to its sexiness.

  100. i only got like 40 something seconds into this video befor i started laughing my arse off! you looked right into the cam and said i have pretty big… (pauses) breasts. hahahahaha like you were unsure if anyone would believe you.

  101. Hey just watched your video on bra sizing and it was pretty helpful, Ive had a bit of trouble finding bras myself in the past.
Regarding the sports bra I found one that is really great for me, its designed for women with big breasts so it might be good for you its called the Ta Ta Tamer and its made and sold by lululemon.

    http://shop.lululemon.com/products/clothes-accessories/women-bras/Ta-Ta-Tamer-31503?cc=8319&skuId=3408118&catId=women-bras

    Thanks for the advice
    :D

  102. Lacy and all bust girls of a band size of 42″ or below, search for bravissimo!!! I do know their bras are a little pricy but when you can get them on sale they are a great great deal!! They carry freya and fantasy and many others in VERY cute bras. Also remember some of the brands are UK sizes, for instance the panache brand they sell is bigger in the cup size than I’m used to. In most US stores I would wear a 38J, however in panache I am a 38H (I ordered a J by mistake and was suprised to get the first bra that has ever been too big). Again search for BRAVISSIMO!! price range is from $30-$100, and shipping isn’t cheap but you can often find coupon codes for that. And if you aren’t sure of your size in a certain bra, call them with a bra size and type that you know and they will be able to convert anything for you.

  103. Hey Laci, I ave the same exact problem I have a large bust and small waist. I did however find the perfect place for my problem. Fredrick’s of Hollywood has very cute bras for small an large sizes. My favorite ones are the Corset bras. I have many may different colors from red to plaid to cheetah print! :D Hope this helps!!

  104. I can’t help but love you every more, Laci.
I’m a 32DDD and I know your pain. However, as a seamstress, I’d like to add some information to your repertoire: Bra-size is determined by the circumference of your rib-cage(band size) and the difference between that number and the circumference of the fullest part of your breasts. IE: if the fullest part is 1 inch more than the ribs, you’re and “A”; 2 inches, a “B”; etc.
Also I buy my bras almost exclusively at Dillards. I’m not sure if they have those stores in California, but there’s several huge sales every year and you can buy small-band, large-supped bras for $10 per pair on average.
Also, I know this sounds odd, but some maternity stores will also carry these types of sizes and some nursing-bras can be very exciting when worn for a significant other!
Anyway, keep up the fantastic work Love!

    • PS: Never Buy from Fredrick’s or Victoria’s Secret. Those bras are poorly constructed out of second-rate materials and aren’t meant to last more than a few months. That and neither store trains their employees in proper fitting. Both stores tries to tell me I was a 36D. I told them “I MAKE these things, I know my own damn size.”
Soma Intimates also has very supportive and cute bra and pantie sets.

  105. Laci, I am a 16 year old girl and have your same problem. I have a 30 band size, so I cant even go to Norstrom to get my bras. I just wanted to tell you and any other girl with big boobs and a small bust line out there my solution; to please go online!!!!!! It is amazing and there really are cute bras out there for us, that somewhat reasonably priced. Not many but they exist. Here are two sites where you can shop by size and actually get cute and sexy bras.

    http://www.figleaves.com/us/home.asp

    http://www.barenecessities.com/

P.S. please try not to be prejudice of buying it online, I got the same bras from a specialty store, and they work amazingly.

  106. I usually go to La senza. It’s perfect for when you’re a 32 or 34DD, and they do have Es but they usually don’t have many in stock. I’m lucky if I find one 34E. Oh and they have SUPER CUTE bras there!

I have a question though Lacy, have you ever considered breast reduction surgery? I’ve been thinking about it alot because of the amount of back problems I have and started getting at such a young age. But i’m kinda scared to change my body that way. I was just currious about your thoughs on that. :)

  107. I’ve found a few bra companies which offer these kinds of sizes. Unfortunately I fall into the unprofitable demographic of below average waist size, above average breast size so I’ve become a kind of master of bra hunting :p
DimitySo, Curvy Kate, Panache, Freya, and Fantasy have all been really good. The sizes don’t seem to differ too much between companies which always helps, especially if you’re thinking of buying them online. They’re generally expensive, but i’ll link some websites which tend to have either ongoing or annual sales. They all ship to the USA. I hope this helps. Everyone should have pretty bras.

  108. Oh Laci, I’m a recent convert to your page and am becoming a great fan. I have had this bra problem for years. To a large extent, it’s too late for me – I’m 51 and time has taken its toll. But my 17 year old daughter is a 32 FF (natural, not even on the pill!) and we’re starting to struggle against the ‘I want to wear cute, pretty bras,’ against the, “sorry, the only thing available is the strap ‘em down and hold ‘em in hard” brigade.
There is a truism there – that the larger bust, no matter how well looked after, will sag more eventually, but a 17 year old just wants something pretty and sweet. Many of the UK (I live in Scotland) online sites actually do cater for the ‘fuller’ figure now and 32FF is not uncommon, but fancy and cute? – forget it. Yes, Freya and Fantasie are great, but wow – expensive! And personally I hate underwires – so my range is even more limited! I seem to ‘swell’ during the day, being menopausal, and an underwire really becomes painful (and yes, I have been professionally measured) so I wear bigger and looser. No support of course, but at least I’m not in pain. Anyway, I digress. Busts are awkward, tricky and problematic. I think I’d rather have to shave every day.
At least a guy can grow a beard!

  109. Laci, great work with the video.

my problem – well, i am 25 & based in India. We have many brands of different sorts of styles but for some reason i have NEVER been able to find the perfect one. In our brands, each co. has its size, which differs from the next one. example, i m categorized as 38C in jockey or 38b in lovable & 36DD in Enamor.
Another problem is that in India, we do not have the option of having the different waist band sizes, if ur cup size is 38C u cant have a bra tailoring, or at-least i haven’t found one.
It just becomes so stressful & uncomfortable to live with a bra which is not of your body type.
the concept of “fits like a glove” is still unknown to almost 80% of females in India.

for sports bra, i would recommend Jockey coz i personally adore their sports collection which is comparatively cheap and lasts long.. http://www.jockey.com

  110. Watched this when it first came out and I guess something stuck with me (or it could be that Laci’s bra size has been on my mind for a couple of months, let us go with the explaination that I am a concerned citizen regarding the comfort and well being of a fellow human being) because I heard a radio ad the other day about “The Wizard of Bras”. It’s for a store in Monrovia, CA, but they do have a website (http://www.wizardofbras.com/) and online customer service contact ([email protected]). Not sure if the search continues or if you even keep up with chatter on older posts. But I thought it might be of use for you and others to have another resource. Hope you are well and good, keep doing what you do cause you’re awesome in every way possible.

  111. I am a 34I and I buy a lot of my bras from a website called http://www.bravissimo.com they have really cute bras ranging from 28DD to 48J so. which is a wider range than I have found anywhere else and most of there bras are super cute and sexy and have fun designs (even polka dots). I love them.

  113. Hi Laci. I’m sixteen and have only just found a bra that fits me, but similarly to you, i have found they’re very expensive.

I have four or five bras that fit me well but these are all uncomfortable during sport. I have found wearing a ‘chest plate crop top’ supports my breasts well and fits. Although online shopping requires you to buy the plastic removable guard as well as the top you can get them relatively cheap. Three for $10 is the cheapest I found and fit well. Giko, Blitz and Shock Absorber are all great for support and comfort. I would recommend wearing the top over your well fitting day bra for maximum support and comfort.

I’m a 32E/F (depending on the make and style) and these provide great support throughout any sporting activities I must participate in. I hope this helps you and anyone else who struggles finding support in sports bras.

  114. I like you also have issues with the tiny ribs big boob issue (and the lane bryan doesn’t work for me issue), and the only place that I could find where I lived close to was Dillards with a brand called modern movement I think, they run about $36. Unfortunately they run in the 3 blah colors that bras our size come in.

  115. Hey laci, I really enjoyed this video but I have the opposite problem then you. I have small boobies and a wider waist. Nothing ever fits me and my breasts fall to the bottem of every cup. I have all these ladies giving me bra fittings. Telling me a different size everytime. They won’t even look at my breasts to what I have going on. They are pointy and are positioned low on my chest and well now I’m frustrated even talking about it. I feel everyone pays attention to the big boob problems and not little boobs problems. As if I don’t have any. Do I have to have one specially made because I can barely afford walmart.

  116. brastop.com is faaaabulous. They stock all kinds of big cupped bras for women and are cheap. Also, they’re cute, as opposed to the traditional black/white stuff.

  117. Laci, I know I’m about a year behind the times, but Curvation bras are the only ones I’ve ever found that fit me (32E) properly–AND you can get them on amazon.com for between $15 and $20 apiece.

  118. Thanks for the Nordstrom’s tip, I have a heck of a time finding a 38F(DDD)! Lane Bryant works for me, but I really needed a second option. Love your vids :)

  119. I have just stumbled across your videos and page, and I love it. I know this thread is a tad old but I really liked that you are sharing and communicating so many ‘taboo’ issues that so many of us struggle with…..Including sports bras! Just my strategy: I can never find ’1′ sports bra with everything I like, so I get two! I always end up with one bra that gives the coverage and comfort, and when I layer that with one that has the support I end up with one pretty decent sports bra… Its a hassel I know, but untill ‘they’ cater to my demographic, it will do.
Thanks for your honesty and information, it is so refreshing!

  120. I just found this, I know it’s 2012, but I wish I had found this months ago. I literally just want to hide my boobs because I haven’t been able to find bras that fit. I have have gone from a reasonable cup size of like a C…to a D…to a DD…and now I’m a DDD (Which most companies depending on where their from is an E/F ) But I’m also a small band size like you, a 32. I hate shopping for bras and I live in ugly sports bras. I have a couple that fit, but they have these stupid seams down the middle which show through my clothes…don’t know what genius decided that was ok. Also, I don’t know about you, but do your bras seem to wear down fast?? Even with hand washing and line drying…they just don’t seem to last :/ I wish companies would take into consideration us girls with big ole titties…Thank you so much for this video!! I feel so much less lonely in this hunt for bras!!

  121. Hey I know I am a little late on this post > . > But watching this video really sparked some things. I am 18 and have had trouble finding bras for a very long time now. I used to have to travel to the city to buy bras in my size. I found that once I passed E cup it became almost impossible to find bras as I too have a smaller comparative band size. I now have to wear 38HH, and at the moment I have only found one make of bra that caters to my size, but guess what! They are seriously nice bras. http://www.curvykate.com These bras are pretty much the only bra locally available to me (so maybe I am an Aussie :P) But they are super awesome and really pretty. the only downside is they can be a little pricey, at the moment I only have one which I have to wash all the time D:

    thanks for being so awesome!

  122. Thank you so much! i’ve struggled with this stuff, too, and freya has definitely been a savior. I, too, found myself going to nordstroms a couple of years ago to buy bras that actually fit, despite the fact that i can’t really afford it. It’s so nice to hear that someone is going through the same thing as me! my only question is, did you ever find cut and sexy bras in our size? are there any dresses in particular made for women with big boobs? Thanks again!

  123. We are pleased that I have discovered nowadays (Sunday) this kind of pleasant site about review, considerably regarding The Cures | Natural Cure To Cancer, even when possibly not put up nowadays your blog post appears to be modified, many thanks, genie bra reviews

  124. I wear size 32DDD and buying bras is a nightmare, I bought two bras at Macy’s almost a year ago and the total came out to $80, and one was on clearance, not only were they really expensive, they were super hard to find in my size and they aren’t really sexy at all, they remind me of something a grandmother would wear, though they do fit and that’s a plus…

  125. In England we have a store called Bravissimo (see website) and they actually sell cute bras! Makes me so happy, no more “granny” style hammocks. :) Everywhere else you have to have like a large back size which totally sucks.

  126. Hey Laci, I haven’t had the chance to read through all the comments, but I do have a suggestion that may sound a little weird… if you’re looking for a sexy bra for your size, did you ever try looking at Frederick’s of Hollywood, or places that mainly cater to strippers/showgirls? I know, I know.. it sounds awful, but if you’re looking for something on the sexier side to wear once in a while, they definitely have what you’re looking for in a generous range of band/cup combinations. I’m a 32DD/E and I have a few pieces from Frederick’s that I couldn’t find anywhere else. Good luck! <3 D

  127. I would try the clearance at a place like academy sports or try an outlet for Nike or something for the sports bras, I’m a 34 D so I get it. I always try to find a size that’s just shorter so that my breasts are have more support. This way they aren’t bouncing everywhere (I know how annoying that can be especially if you’re like me and go workout at the university gym where all the jocks are). Hope you find some!

  128. Hi.. I’m not a girl, but my girlfriend is fairly busty too, and she orders her bras from Bravissimo. They only have physical stores in England, but they ship all over the world (I think). They make sexy bras, neutral bras, sportswear, dresses and other clothes with support. Hope it helps.

  129. Laci,
I wear a larger cup size then most girls my age. However my waistband size is weird. A size 36 on the loosest setting is too tight, whereas a size 38 on the tightest setting is big. Do you know any solutions for this problem that aren’t pricy?

    • (not Laci, but maybe I can help you) From my understanding, there shouldn’t be that much of a difference between a 36 on the loosest setting and a 38 on the tightest. Did this happen with one type of bra or does it happen with all/most styles? If the first, I would try different styles. Sometimes even if a bra is “in my size” it still won’t fit right for various reasons (band, underwire placement, etc). If the latter (and the bra fits well in all other areas), then I would say you have two options: 1) get the 36 with a band expander (http://www.amazon.com/Extender-Style-White-Black-Beige/dp/B002KABQR4 is one example) or 2) get the 38 and have it tailored down to fit. Hope this helps!

  130. Laci,

It sounds like your straps still dig in a bit, because you said the weight of the breasts pulls on them. I was just wondering if maybe it wouldn’t hurt for you to try going down another band size (and up a cup size, as they are relative). 80% of the support should come from the band, and the straps really shouldn’t be carrying very much of the weight (10% each).

I wear a 32 band and just from looking at you, I’m pretty sure you’re smaller around the middle than me. Use a tape measure tightly around your ribs just under your breasts, and that number should be a good place to start for your band. Don’t add any inches to the measurement unless you have a bony ribcage or very sensitive skin.

A place I recently ordered from is brastop.com, they have loads of sizes and some really beautiful bras. They carry the Freyas and Fantasies that you like, but some other good brands that they have are Panache and Curvy Kate, which are made specifically for full-busted women. It’s a UK website, but shipping to the US isn’t horrible (~$12). What I do is order a bra I like in a few sizes at a time to try, and if you get over 75 UK pounds, shipping becomes free. Then, you just have to pay to ship the bras that didn’t fit back, and their return policy is fantastic.

Anyway, best of luck on your bra journey!

  131. Hey – I realize you posted this like … a year ago but I know aerie.com has a pretty wide range. It doesn’t work for everyone but they’ll do a 32D. Their bras are cute and super comfy. It’s what I wear.

As for sports bras, underarmour (while they are a bit expensive) started making sports bras by cup size. So I actually got my exact band size and cup size in a sports bra through them. I know Sports Authority has them in stock too. You can get a 32DD sports bra in your size which is awesome. They do this cup-size thing from DD all the way down to As. The cups are removable and it’s all quick dry material. They’re really great and saved me in Ecuador.

(I’m posting this on Oct 10, 2012 in case the links go out of date)

  132. However these are not the only requirements in ladies
bathing suits, they must also be fun and functional
as swimwear. Stomach; your figure much depends upon stomach.

Numerous customers mistakenly false that Hollister (Hollister
Mens Jeans )is a bar or building before they adventure in because the accumulation that
is oversubscribed here is not evident from the surface
    of the keep.

  133. I have similar problems, I have found many places to find decent bras (many for decent prices) for your kind of size, I unfortunately still have trouble finding good ones. I found ONE company that makes a comfortable, reasonably attractive bra that fits me. I hope that I either lose enough weight to make this easier, or they expand to other styles. Anyway, check out Linda the bra lady: http://www.lindasonline.com They have a good sizing chart, and a LOT of bras and companies to look into. I wound up buying the one brand I liked on amazon because they have a few that are cheaper. Although, for some reason, if I want any color other than brown or beige the price goes up about $20…but they DO have them!

  134. I played rugby for a while and one of the things our team’s personal trainer suggested was wearing more than one sports bra at a time. It seriously works wonders. My boobs were all over the place until I doubled up.

  135. I have the same problem. My cup size varies between D and DD, but my strap size is about a 32-34. I live in Venezuela, where economic limitations by the government prevent both varied imports and internal production. Basically, bras my size don’t exist in my country (or bikini tops!).
Last time I tried to shop for bras or bikinis, most salesgirls actually called me fat and said I had a weird body. Super fun for your self esteem hahahaha
I’m going to try ordering bras online to see if maybe that way I can find a pretty one that fits properly, but it’s just a really big risk to buy a bra without trying it on.

  136. Hello Laci!
If you need a bra possibly try going to te online lasenza store they do have bras that are very supportive i find and are in cups from 34B-38DD and the bra there are sexy and cute. But the straps aren’t really thick just spagetti straps. Most malls have LaSenza and will mesure your size (it’s best to get a size measuring there and try it on because they’re sizes may be different then where you usually go) for you but it think it might be better to do online shopping because their have more selection and sizes online, but some of they’re prices are up to 42 dollars on a lightly lined bras (lightly lined don’t really have very much lining maybe half a centimeter 0.20 inches maybe even less) but their prices can also be cheaper like 19 dollars and most of them have underwire. LaSenza also has different styles of bra (plunge, front close, racerback, strapless, etc.) It’s also really good for panties and stuff.

  137. Hi, Laci! I know this post is ooooolllllllldddd, but Frederick’s of Hollywood has very sexy bras for bigger busts and smaller wastes (I’m a 32F. Sucks so bad). Their bras are about $25 a piece. There’s also a British bra line called Bravissimo….pricey, but excellent and they ship to the states.

  138. Hello Laci, I saw the video, and I just wanted to ask about the area where you live. I live in Maryland, and there is one really nice bra place called Bra la la. It goes from a D all the way to a triple K. They fit you in store, and their bras range any where from about 70-100 dollars. They’re bras are really cute, comfortable, and durable. I also know that in Atlanta, Georgia there is a bra store called Livi Ray. I haven’t been there so I can’t really tell you the price.

  139. Hi Lacy! I’m a guy so obviously I can’t add any personal experience to the discussion, but I heard a lot of great things about reddit.com/r/ABraThatFits which is a subreddit (forum) for users who have trouble finding bras for their body types. Hopefully this can help you and a some of your viewers!

  140. I’m not sure if it was mentioned in the comments but I LOVE Herroom.com. I got fitted by a coworker’s mother who had worked in a lingerie department of a store for many years. I bought a bra to hold me over(not cute) and went to herroom.com and they have my fave brands and size charts and a universal sizing chart with tips for each bra and how it fits. They actually have REAL sports bras and I actually got back into running! Panache Full-Busted Underwire Sports Bra 5021.
They have reviews by real women with their cup sizes listed. They have periodic sales on different colors and styles and if you ever need to return anything, it’s a breeze. PLEASE spread the word on this. I cannot tell you how great it is to be a busty woman in a sexy lingerie set that fits!

Another site that has been giving me hope about sleeping bra-less is Bravissimo.com. They sell…SUPPORTIVE SLEEPWEAR! They also sell supportive swimwear.

After the fitting, I cried. I hated how large my breasts were and they felt disproportionate to the rest of me. When I complain to my husband or friends they would laugh and say “How could having large breasts ever be a problem?” *insert more crying here* Then I found an AMAZING site bigbustsupport.com. That is where I found all of this stuff. Women just like me, with figures like mine, all with the same complaints, stresses, and worries as ME. Finally, I could point somewhere and tell my friends and husband that other people have the SAME situation as me. I wasn’t alone and I learned to embrace myself as I am and now have these great resources to turn to.

  141. Laci,
I noticed a lot of people giving recommendations for cute bras, but something that I think is even harder to find is sports bras. For brands, i have found 2 that I really like, UnderArmour and Moving Comfort. They’re a little difficult to get on because the straps cross in the back and then you have to close the hooks on the back, but once you get it on it is 100% worth it! They come in band sizes with DD support, but i found that they still fit if you’re a little bigger then a DD like I am. As far as where to find them, that’s a little harder. I think I found mine at Sports Authority and REI, so you’d probably have more luck looking at outdoor stores. Otherwise you could always order it online. I have another sports bra made by Champion that is easier to put on and still works well, but I had to get it tailored, so I’m not sure if they come in the smaller band sizes. I feel your pain looking for bras and I was lucky enough to have 2 older sisters who went through the same thing so they just passed on all the information they had found. I hope this helps!
    Marie

  142. I’d recommend bravissimo, I know they have physical stores in the uk and an online website too. Also if you go there to get measured they’re lovely, considerate ladies that’ll find what size you need for different bra brands. It was the first time I had bras that fit me and were measured correctly as after Being told by m&s that I had a 32 waist I’m actaully a 28 waist. http://www.bravissimo.com/m/#?/

  143. I wear 34DD bras when i wear them but I’m really tell so I try to wear them add little as possible but sometimes it’s avoidable. To help with exercising I usually end up wearing one that’s a little tight or wearing an underwire bra and a sports bra. Nordstrom and specialty stores are usually the only place i find bras because sites that do carry my size usually sell out really fast.

  144. hi, great video, so many women wear the wrong size.

Your body can change over time, even super model Tyra Banks
was wearing the wrong size, she did a show on this topic.

Like nice lingerie on a lady, don’t have to be expensive,
just fit properly and that is good for the lady to be comfortable.

I buy lingerie for my wife at secrets in lace (no spaces dot com)

Never pay full price, anywhere for your lingerie!

    Regards

  145. I know this can be horrible, but i`m so glad you shared your problem.
I was very young when i went through puberty. And since the day i’m wearing bra’s i have never found one that actually fits. I life in Europe so the store you recommended is not really here for me. I did search on the internet, but so far no luck. There are bra’s in my size but every time i realize its still not the right fit. And they are really expensive and plain. I think that i will buy one with the right cup size but a lager band so i can tailor it. That idea never crossed my mind. But it is an option.
    Thank you.
